The company has built Environment Management System (EMS) pursuant to ISO 14001:2004 and applied “zero emission” policy, resulting in a recycle ratio of over 99%. The waste water treatment system is hugely invested with over 100 billion VND, applied modern microbiological treatment technology to ensure that wastewater from treated production that comply not only Vietnamese regulation but also much more serious global standards of Ajinomoto Group.

Since 2014, Ajinomoto Vietnam brought into operation the biomass boiler, providing steam for production system. The boiler uses the friendly agricultural by-products of rice husks, resulting in reducing almost 50% CO2 into the environment that contributes to protect the green environment.

Integrating with EMS for sustainable development, Ajinomoto Vietnam always aim to preserve and develop food resources for the purpose of stable raw materials for manufacturing as well as keeping natural balance. Typically in the production of bột ngọt, the company has applied “Bio-cycle” production to keep the balance in nature while promoting the development of Vietnam agriculture. Accordingly, the co-products in the production of bột ngọt are developed into products of biological fertilizers and feed materials, provide abundant nutrients to improve soil, land and livestock productivity that result in producing agricultural and livestock products of high quality to be utilized for our production.

Moreover, we will provide farmers with helpful information and technology to improve their crop productivity and produce more high-quality agricultural products through the wide network which include farmers, agriculture authorities, universities and institutes.
